Welcome to The Comical Anatomist!

Well hello there! Welcome to The Comical Anatomist, a place where learning anatomy is fun (well, as fun as anatomy can be).

Are you currently whacked out of your gourd with stress from impeding exams that you should have started studying for months ago, but didn’t. Are you now wondering how on earth you’re going to get through these critical moments in your degree so that you can move forward to the place where study is just a distant memory?

If you have answered yes to any of the above questions The Comical Anatomist is the site for you! Our aim here is to help students across the world learn anatomy in a delightful way that does not require you to face palm a 6 pound text book at 3 in the morning.

Each image on this site allows you to test your knowledge of anatomy. All you need to do is click on the image and it will reveal the key of wisdom (the answers).

I hope this blog can provide you with some comfort during the painstaking and stressful lead up to your exams. It’s OK if your text books are still in their original packaging! Because this site has your back! (well, it has your back for whichever organs I have uploaded so far, working full time means that this is a slower process than I would like).

Anyway, happy studying!

An update

Hi everybody!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted so I thought I would give you all a quick update. I am so sorry that I have been radio silent for almost 2 years now. I have been on an extended maternity leave (I got quite sick during pregnancy so that’s why things sort of dropped off without any warning…) so I have been struggling to find the time to create new content given how detailed the anatomy drawings I do are. However I do intend on creating more in the future once I am able to rustle up some time. I have a few ideas in the pipeline. So I WILL BE BACK! I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your continued support and understanding as I navigate the balancing act between work and home life.
